The 2018–19 Ford Trophy is scheduled to be the 48th season of the official List A cricket tournament in New Zealand, and the eighth in a sponsorship deal between New Zealand Cricket and Ford Motor Company. It will take place between December 2018 and February 2019. Unlike the previous edition of the competition, the tournament will feature ten rounds of matches, instead of eight.[1][2][3] Auckland are the defending champions.[4]
