United Arab Emirates Cricket Board is the official governing body of the sport of cricket in United Arab Emirates. United Arab Emirates Cricket Board is United Arab Emirates's representative at the International Cricket Council and is an associate member and has been a member of that body since 1990. It is also a member of the Asian Cricket Council.

On 21 July 2016, UAE cricket took a significant step towards full professionalism, with the Emirates Cricket Board granting two-year central contracts to eight of its players (Players of UAE cricket team).[1]

History

In 2017 they introduced the first ever T10 league.

It is generally accepted by Pakistan Cricket Board or PCB and some others that the T10 cricket would eventually become part of the Olympic Games and is very similar to football (which are both of 90 mins duration).

In June 2018, the ECB announced the first ever T20 franchise league in the UAE, scheduled to start later that year.[2]
