Judgment Day (WWE)

Judgment Day is een jaarlijkse Pay-Per-View (PPV) show, die gepresenteerd wordt door de World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). De eerste editie werd op 18 oktober 1998 uitgezonden als een In Your House PPV, wat toen d'r tijd nog beschouwd werd als een iets mindere PPV als de rest, zoals Wrestlemania of de Royal Rumble, en daardoor ook geen traditionele 3 uur, maar 2 uur duurde. Het was tevens de opvolger van de Over the Edge PPV, nadat deze was afgeschaft nadat in de 1999 PPV Owen Hart verongelukte en tot zijn vervroegde dood viel. Sinds 2000 werd het een standaard ingeplande PPV na Backlash. In 2004 tot 2006 was het een exclusieve PPV voor alleen de SmackDown! show, maar is sinds 2007, een tri-branded PPV, wat inhoudt dat er superstars van alle drie de shows optreden, zowel van Fridaynight SmackDown! en ECW als Mondaynight RAW.
