Verhaal

Een Russische boerenmeid breekt door als operadiva. Ze wordt de geliefde van een Russische prins. Als de monarchie wordt omvergeworpen tijdens de Revolutie, moet het stel de winterse steppen doorkruisen om naar Amerika te vluchten.
