De rit is gebaseerd op de Disney-film Pinokkio. De gemiddelde snelheid van de darkride ligt ongeveer gelijk aan die van een wandelaar.
Versies
Disneyland Park Anaheim
Deze versie is geopend op 23 mei 1983. Een rit in deze versie duurt circa 3 minuten.
Tokyo Disneyland
Deze versie is geopend op 15 april 1983 en is daarmee oudste van de drie versies wereldwijd.
Disneyland Park Paris
Deze versie is geopend op 12 april 1992. Langs de circa twee minuten durende rit komen bezoekers langs twaalf verschillende scènes. De personages in deze darkride spreken alleen Frans. Deze versie is qua oppervlakte kleiner dan de versies in andere parken, omdat volgens de Franse bouwvoorschriften dikkere muren verplicht zijn dan in de andere parken.[1] De attractie heeft in dit park een Franse naam, te weten Les Voyages de Pinocchio.
Trivia
- Pinocchio's Daring Journey was de eerste Disney-attractie die gebruik maakte van hologrammen. Ze zijn te zien in de scène van Luilekkerland als de kinderen in de spiegels kijken en zichzelf als ezel zien.[1]
