Gehyra
Gehyra is een geslacht van hagedissen die behoren tot de gekko's (Gekkota) en de familie Gekkonidae. De groep werd voor het eerst wetenschappelijk beschreven door John Edward Gray in 1834. Er zijn 38 soorten, inclusief drie soorten die pas in 2012 voor het eerst zijn beschreven.

Alle soorten komen voor in Zuidoost-Azië.[1] Gehyra mutilata komt echter op meer werelddelen voor. Deze soort is te vinden in Mexico, Maleisië en op de Seychellen.
