Finale League Cup 2000

De finale van de League Cup van het seizoen 1999/2000 werd gehouden op 27 februari 2000 in het oude Wembley Stadium. Leicester City, dat uitkwam in de Premier League, nam het op tegen de verrassende tweedeklasser Tranmere Rovers. Leicester won de League Cup met een felbevochten 2-1 zege. Leicester-aanvoerder Matt Elliott was de held. Elliott scoorde beide doelpunten en werd als zodanig verkozen tot man van de wedstrijd. Tussendoor hing aanvaller David Kelly de bordjes gelijk voor Tranmere Rovers.
