Euleptes
Euleptes is een monotypisch geslacht van hagedissen die behoren tot de gekko's (Gekkota) en de familie Sphaerodactylidae.[1] De groep werd voor het eerst wetenschappelijk beschreven door Leopold Fitzinger in 1843.

Het verspreidingsgebied beperkt zich in Europa tot het Middellandse Zeegebied, en verder is de gekko te vinden tot in Tunesië. Het geslacht kent maar één soort: de Europese bladvingergekko (Euleptes europaea).
