Diplodactylus

Diplodactylus is een geslacht van hagedissen die behoren tot de gekko's (Gekkota) en de familie Diplodactylidae. Er zijn 20 soorten die endemisch voorkomen in Australië.[1]

Vroeger was het geslacht veel soortenrijker, een aantal soorten zijn echter in de loop der tijd aan andere geslachten toegewezen, zoals Lucasium. Soms komen er ook nieuwe soorten bij, zoals de pas in 2013 beschreven soort Diplodactylus nebulosus.
