Tamarack, Placer County, California
Tamarack is a former settlement in Placer County, California.[1] Tamarack is located on the Southern Pacific Railroad, 9 miles (14.5 km) west of Donner Pass.[2] It lay at an elevation of 6224 feet (1897 m).[1]
