Lone Star, Placer County, California

Lone Star is a former settlement in Placer County, California.[1] Lone Star is located 6 miles (9.7 km) north of Auburn.[1]

The Lone Star post office operated from 1861 to 1863.[1] The Lone Star mine was at the site.[1]
