Matang Tubig

Matang Tubig is a cold spring, tourist spot in Laguna, Philippines it is bounded by Cabuyao and Calamba cities it's slope to the foot of Casile Valley, The Matang Tubig water source is from Tagaytay City in the province of Cavite, The cave is close adjacent beside in Canlubang Golf & Country Club, Along the Valley fault.

History

The cedar-shaped water was a cave shape created in 1932 during the Spanish period, where the war between the Japanese and American occurred in which the wounded American soldier was hiding and hiding it, as well as his companion Jose Yulo. A San Cristobal River or Matang Tubig Falls is one of the major rivers covered of Calamba, that drains in Laguna de Bay along with San Juan River (Calamba), San Cristobal River is also monitored by the Laguna Lake Development Authority (LLDA).

Borders

It is distributed by towns and cities in the province of Laguna and Cavite in 2017 on the hazard map of the region IV-A and it also serves the watershed for the cities of Cabuyao and Calamba. Currently the cave is forbidden because it is on the West Valley Fault zone.
