Lynn Tan

Lynn is the winner of Miss Universe Singapore 2012. She was crowned on 9 September 2012 and represented Singapore in the Miss Universe pageant in Las Vegas.

In addition to the crown, she also won 3 subsidiary awards in the Miss Universe Singapore competition:

• Miss Body Beautiful
• Miss Sensational Smile
• Miss Lumiere International
• In 2012, Lynn was awarded the Star Model of Singapore award at the Asian Models Festival Awards in Seoul, Korea.
• In 2011, Lynn also won the FHM Model of the Year (Singapore) competition.
• She was featured twice on the cover of FHM Magazine - in Jan 2013 and Aug 2011. She has multiple spreads, newspaper and magazine features.
• She was featured on the cover of Aesthetics and Beauty magazine in January 2013.
• Lynn was a part-time model in university and has modeled for brands such as La Perla, Softbake, Mondial Jewelry, Luxor Champagne, Ecco, Epson and Singtel.
• She is Singaporean Chinese and has a height of 1.71m. Her stats are 34C-25-35.

Lynn represented Singapore at Miss Universe 2012 in Las Vegas, USA but Unplaced at the pageant on December 19, 2012.

Lynn currently works in wealth management at a major global bank. She previously worked in mergers and acquisitions at Deloitte & Touche. Lynn studied at Singapore Management University, Raffles Junior College and CHIJ St Nicholas Girls' School.

Lynn is actively engaged in philanthropy.

• Her adopted charity and cause for awareness is the Singapore Guide Dogs Association for the Blind. She raised S$33,000 for the charity with the help of Deloitte & Touche.
• She was also the Ambassador for the Color Run, an international festival which supports Project Happy Feet. Project Happy Feet empowers underprivileged youth and children in developing countries by raising funds for education initiatives. She raised awareness for the charity via interviews with Channel News Asia, radio and print media.

Her other charitable activities include:

• ICAP Charity Day 2013 & 2014
• Volunteering at the Lee Ah Mooi old age home
• Conducting grooming classes for underprivileged girls
• Awarded the Certificate of Appreciation for International Volunteers Day
• Participating in the JP Morgan Corporate Challenge.
