Kaybitsky District
Kaybitsky District (Russian: Кайбицкий райо́н, Tatar: Cyrillic Кайбыч районы, Latin Qaybıç rayonı) is an administrative[1] and municipal[6] district (raion), one of the forty-three in the Republic of Tatarstan, Russia. It is located in the west of the republic. The area of the district is 995.40 square kilometers (384.33 sq mi).[3] Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Bolshiye Kaybitsy.[2] Population: 14,898 (2010 Census);[4] 16,116 (2002 Census).[8] The population of Bolshiye Kaybitsy accounts for 10.7% of the district's total population.[4]
