Agryzsky District
Agryzsky District (Russian: Агрызский райо́н; Tatar: Cyrillic Әгерҗе районы, Latin Ägerce rayonı) is an administrative[1] and municipal[6] district (raion), one of the forty-three in the Republic of Tatarstan, Russia. It is located in the northeast of the republic on the bank of the Izh River. The area of the district is 1,796.6 square kilometers (693.7 sq mi).[3] Its administrative center is the town of Agryz.[2] Population: 36,626 (2010 Census);[4] 36,848 (2002 Census);[8] 39,336 (1989 Census).[9] The population of Agryz accounts for 52.7% of the district's total population.[4]
