Global Energy Monitor

Global Energy Monitor is a non-governmental organization which catalogs worldwide fossil fuel infrastructure, such as gas pipelines,[1] in support of fossil fuel phase-out. Founded by Ted Nace in 2008, it maintains a database of worldwide coal-fired power stations in its "widely respected"[2] Global Coal Plant Tracker and reports annually on trends, especially in India and China.[3]
