Chandla is located at 25.08°N 80.2°E / 25.08; 80.2.[1] It has an average elevation of 177 metres (580 feet). It is hilly and located on the bank of Ken river.

As of 2001 India census,[2] Chandla had a population of 10,207. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%.
