Bavdhan consists of two parts - Bavdhan Khurd and Bavdhan Budruk, geographically as well as politically. The part of Bavdhan that lies east of Ramnadi river is called Bavdhan Khurd, and the remaining part lying to the west of Ramnadi river is called Bavdhan Budruk.
