Atlantic City FC

Atlantic City Football Club (ACFC) is an American soccer team based in Atlantic City, New Jersey, United States. Founded in 2017, the team plays in the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL), considered the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid, in the Keystone Conference.[1] The team uses Silver Eagle Stadium in Egg Harbor Township for home matches .[2] The team's colors are purple, black and white.[3]

History

Atlantic City Football Club (ACFC) are a soccer club based in Atlantic City, New Jersey that play in the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL).[1] The team currently competes in the Keystone Conference and currently uses Silver Eagle Stadium in Egg Harbor Township for home matches after playing their first season at Stockton University . ACFC was officially announced as an expansion side in the NPSL on December 21, 2017.”[1] Shortly after, former Swansea City player Kristian O'Leary was appointed Head Coach.[4]

In the team's continued effort to expand, it was announced on December 4, 2018 that the club had formed an alliance with local New Jersey amateur side Jackson Lions FC of the Garden State Adult Amateur Soccer League.[5] As sister clubs, the agreement seeks to "expand both clubs’ player and coaching base" along with other joint projects and ventures in the near future.

On February 7, 2019 it was announced that the team is working with The City of Atlantic City to play home games in Surf Stadium starting in 2020.[6]
