Philadelphia Phoenix (AUDL)

The Philadelphia Phoenix is a professional ultimate team based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and member of the American Ultimate Disc League (AUDL), the premier professional ultimate league in North America, with 22 teams across the United States and Canada. The Philadelphia franchise was created in 2012, as one of the original eight founding teams of the AUDL. In 2013 the franchise adopted the Phoenix name under the ownership of Jorge Harris. From 2012 to 2019 the team competed in the East Division. As of the 2020 season the Phoenix will compete in the newly formed Atlantic Division with Atlanta Hustle, DC Breeze, Pittsburgh Thunderbirds, Raleigh Flyers and Tampa Bay Cannons. The Phoenix home field is the South Philadelphia Supersite, located in Philadelphia, PA. The Phoenix represent Philadelphia’s vibrant sports culture through ultimate, striving to advance the sport of ultimate while promoting diversity and creating opportunities for women in the sports industry.
