Cultural festivals
Recently from the past few years a well renowned Shiv Mandir Cultural Art Festival[2] is being organized by the Dr. Shrikant Eknath Shinde Foundation. This is indeed a festival that regularly witnesses a huge footfall spanned over three days of extravagance. This festival is used as the platform for hundreds of talented and skilled artists from different corners of India and provide them a stage to showcase their talent.
Other than this there are many other festivals being celebrated in Ambernath with full Indian customs and enthusiasm. There is also a notable Kali Mandir present in the west side of Ambernath.
Upcoming infrastructure
Ambernath is very well connected by the Mumbai lifeline i.e. the local train service. Ambernath is strategically located in the central line of Indian Railways (Western Region). Also a proposed Metro Line 14[3] has been under the planning and approval phase as proposed by the Maharashtra cabinet. So with a local train and upcoming metro connectivity, enhanced infrastructure is expected.
Many popular builders have already launched prestigious real estate projects in the vicinity and this city is known for its cleanliness drives and the recycling processes.[4]
