List of Zords

In the Power Rangers franchise, a Zord is a type of mecha that is often piloted by a Power Ranger. Most Zords can combine to form a humanoid robot known as a Megazord. The Zords used by the team at any time will have a theme, such as dinosaurs, mythical creatures, or animals associated with fighting-styles.

History

A Zord is defined as a giant fighting machine (a.k.a. colossal assault vehicle) featuring the use of humanoid combination, whether through gestalt technology featuring an aggregate humanoid robot, or the internal manning of a non-combining humanoid robot by a humanoid pilot.

After reganing control of their zords, it was decided that Zedd was too powerful a threat for the Dinozords to combat.
