Yousuf Ijaz Butt (Urdu: يوسف اعجاز بٹ; born 18 October 1989[1]) is a Pakistani footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Greve Fodbold and the Pakistan national team. He has been praised for his unique playing style and is known for his quick reflexes, excellent shot-stopping abilities, command of his area and accurate distribution of the ball.

Butt started his professional career at Hellerup IK in 2007, having previously played for the team's youth academy. Initially third choice at Hellerup, he joined BK Skjold for the 2009–10 season playing all the matches at the club and Skjold Birkerød the following season, making 22 and 14 appearances respectively. Butt joined BK Glostrup Albertslund where he immediately saw his break into the team, and established himself very quickly by becoming the number one and the club captain. Soon after, he was awarded the Most Valuable Player of the Year award in 2011. In 2014, Butt then signed with Brønshøj Boldklub[2] and later moved to Svebølle B&I the next season.

Although Butt has been previously selected to play for the Canada under–20 team, he has represented Pakistan at various levels from the under-23s to the national team between 2011 and 2012.[3] He made his debut for the national team in November 2012 against Singapore.[4]
