Vanessa Ponce de Leon (born 13 March 1993) is a Mexican model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss World Mexico 2018. She will represent Mexico at the Miss World 2018.

Life and career

Ponce was born and raised in the city of Guanajuato and grew up in the city of Mexico.

Mexico's Next Top Model (cycle 5)

Ponce began her career as a contestant on cycle 5 of Mexico's Next Top Model in 2014 while she won in the competition.[1][2]

Miss World México 2018

Ponce was crowned Miss World Mexico 2018 on 5 May 2018 at Salón Imperial de Villa Toscana, Sonora where 32 candidates competed for the national title by the outgoing Miss Mexico 2017 Andrea Meza. She will now represent Mexico at Miss World 2018 where Manushi Chhillar, the reigning queen, will crown her successor.[3]

Ponce will represent at the Miss World 2018 pageant where Manushi Chhillar of India will crown her successor at the end of the event.
