Vaade Veedu (English: This Man is That Man only) is a 1973 Telugu, comedy drama film, produced by N. Ramabrahmam on Sri Gowthami Pictures banner and directed by D. Yoganand.[2] Starring N. T. Rama Rao, Manjula in the lead roles and music composed by Satyam.[3]

Plot

Zamindar Jaganatha Rao (Mikkilineni), his wife Shantamma (Pangari Bai) are having two children, son Rambabu & daughter Seeta. On the occasion of Rambabu’s 5th birthday, a thief kidnaps him for his jewelry and says to his wife Lakshmi (Hemalatha) that he has brought an orphan child because they aren’t having children. All of them leave the city. Due to depression, Jaganatha Rao dies. Years roll by, Rambabu grows up by the name of Kondadu (N. T. Rama Rao). Jaganatha Rao's manager Kodandam (Nagabhushanam) plans along with Siddhanti (Allu Ramalingaiah) to grab the entire property by convincing Shantamma to adopt a boy. But she says that she has a strong belief that her son will definitely come back. Now Kodandam makes a plan to bring someone in the place of her son. Meanwhile, Kondadu is about to reach the city in search of a job. On the way, he gets acquaintance with Savitri (Manjula) daughter of Kodandam and they fall in love. After coming to the city Kodandam traps Kondadu by telling a cock & bull story and asks him to act like Rambabu. Kodandam succeeds in keeping Kondadu in Rambabu's place. After some time Kondadu gets closer to the family and really treats them like his mother & sister. At that time, he comes to know that sister Seeta’s (Leela Rani) marriage relation had been disturbed and his brother-in-law Shankar (Krishnam Raju) wants to give divorce by suspecting her character. Now Kondadu in disguise along with his sister Seeta attracts Shankar when he comes to know that Kodandam is behind all these things. There onwards Kondadu starts teaching a lesson to Kodandam with the help of Savitri. At last, he makes the truth comes forward which makes Shankar realize. Simultaneously Kondadu foster mother Lakshmi arrives and reveals that Kodadu is only Rambabu. Finally, the movie ends with a happy note with the marriage of Kondadu & Savitri.
