The USA Central Hockey League (USACHL) is a junior ice hockey league that plans to begin play in 2018. The league was initially planned to consist of six teams in its inaugural 2018–19 season and feature players under twenty-years-old,[1] however, the league launched with four Texas-based teams.[2] The USACHL will have a sixty-game season that will last from October until March.[3] The league intends to be a "free-to-play" junior league similar to USA Hockey's Tier I and Tier II as opposed to the "pay-to-play" Tier III leagues.

The league named former Salmon Arm Silverbacks general manager Troy Mick as its first president.[4]

Teams

Four teams have been announced for the USACHL's inaugural season as of August 24, 2018.
