Treston Decoud (/ˈtrɛstən dˈk/ TRES-tən day-KOO;[1][2] born August 1, 1993) is an American football cornerback and free safety for the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Oregon State. He is a cousin of former NFL player Thomas DeCoud.[3]

Professional career

Houston Texans

Decoud was drafted by the Houston Texans in the fifth round (169th overall) of the 2017 NFL Draft.[4] On May 12, 2017, the Texans signed Decoud to a four-year, $2.64 million contract that included a signing bonus of $249,339.[5]

On September 1, 2018, Decoud was waived by the Texans.[6]

Dallas Cowboys

On September 4, 2018, Decoud was signed to the Dallas Cowboys' practice squad.[7]
