In June 2017 Blackstone (a global leader in Real Estate investing) acquired a majority interest in the business, beginning a new era for TOG.

The Office Group has 44 buildings, of which 33 are open, and 31 are located in London, plus Bristol, Leeds and Frankfurt. 7 Buildings are currently in development. 17 Buildings have also co-working spaces.

Management and ownership

The Office Group was founded by Co-CEOs Olly Olsen and Charlie Green in 2003. In 2010, Lloyd Dorfman, the founder of Travelex, bought the company from Bridges Ventures, combining it with his vehicle Esselco and becoming Chairman of the combined group. [4]. In June 2017 Blackstone (a global leader in Real Estate investing) acquired a majority interest in the business, beginning a new era for TOG. [5].

Network Rail

In 2014, Network Rail and The Office Group announced they would open three drop-in workspaces in London King’s Cross railway station, Liverpool Street station and Leeds railway station as part of a joint venture called The Station Office Network, an initiative to provide mobile offices in railway stations throughout the UK’s major cities. This was an extension of a pilot office space launched at London Paddington station in 2012.[6]
