Tej Sapru is an Indian actor. He is the son of D. K. Sapru and Hemvati, both of whom were actors in the Hindi film industry. His sister Priti Sapru and Reema Rakesh Nath are also actresses of Hindi and Punjabi film industry. Some of Tej's films are Gupt, Mohra, Sirf Tum and Saajan.[1] He is famous for his role in television series like Yahaaan Ghar Ghar Kheli and The Zee Horror Show.

Television career

Sapru has acted in several daily soaps like Qubool Hai, Saat Phere, Tumhari Pakhi, Yahaaan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli and Palampur Express. Sapru is famous for his portrayal of Amatsya Rakshas in the Dangal TV/Imagine TV historical series Chandragupta Maurya, which depicts the life of great ancient Indian emperor Chandragupta Maurya. He also played role of Greek king Seleucus I Nicator in the Colors TV serial Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat.[3][4] Sapru played the role of Chanakya in ABP News TV series Bharatvarsh in 2016.
