Syrian Australians refer to Australians of Syrian descent or Syria-born people who reside in the Commonwealth of Australia.
Australia has opened its doors to Syrian refugees by prioritizing all persecuted minorities, including: Christians, Druze, Syrian Turkmen, and the Yazidis.[2]
