Once on occasion of Hanuman Jayanthi, Raghunath Rao want to offer jewelry to deity, worth crores of rupees. At the same time, three thieves Maharaj (Satyanarayana), Sardar (Srilanka Manohar) & Jaisingh (Tyagaraju) rob the jewelry and kill Raghunath Rao along with his wife Annapurna (Annapurna) and the priest. Raja is left alone and the priest family also becomes orphan. So, Raja takes care of them as his own mother & sister. Heart burning Raja wants to take revenge on these three people. So, he prays to Lord Hanuman, with his blessings Raja gets supernatural powers and becomes a Superman. Raja's foster mother Sarada (Pandari Bai) comes to know about this and she takes an oath from him that he should not reveal it to anyone. Years roll by, Raja (N. T. Rama Rao) becomes young, he always helps people with his supernatural powers but hides his identity. Raja does mining business along with his partner Bangariah (Allu Ramalingaiah) and falls in love with his daughter Jaya (Jaya Prada). The three criminals are still doing the anti-social and illegal activities. First Raja eliminates Jaisingh. After that, Maharaj comes to know that there is gold in Raja & Bangariah’s mine which they do not know. So, they want to grab that mine at any cost. They create rumours that there are demons in that mines which doesn’t allow anyone to work in that place. Raja breaks out their plan and in that process, he eliminates Sardar too. Meanwhile, Raja’s sister Lakshmi (Geeta) loves a guy Mohan (Chakrapani) and becomes pregnant. So, Raja decides to make her marriage with Mohan. But unfortunately, Mohan is the son of Maharaj. Maharaj meets Raja in disguise as Dharma Rao and takes Raja’s share in mine as dowry but flees along with son Mohan. Lakshmi tries to commit suicide, Raja protects her and gives her an assurance that he will definitely bring him back and perform their marriage. Knowing that they are in Hong Kong Raja leaves there. Parallelly Bangariah & Jaya also reach there to sell remaining mine due to luring of Maharaj. Maharaj keeps Bangariah in his custody and tries to grab the mine forcibly. Frightened, Jaya meets Raja and stays along with him. Simultaneously, Maharaj tries to kill Raja on several occasions but Raja busts his each & every plan. At last, he uses person Lee (Jayamalini) a wizard who uses her black magic on Raja but that too was destroyed by him.
