South High Community School (SHCS) is a high school located in Worcester, Massachusetts, United States. It is a public high school of choice for students across the City of Worcester. Class size varies from 8 to 30 students, with a 17:1 student/teacher ratio.[4]

Goddard Scholars Program
The Goddard Scholars Program (also known as Goddard Scholars Academy within South) is an academically accelerated program for high-achieving students in the Worcester Public Schools system.[5] The program starts at grades 6-8th at Sullivan Middle School and continues from grades 9-12th at South High. The Goddard Scholars Program offers 21 AP classes, and students are required to take a minimum of five to graduate from the program.
