Soligorskopterus is a genus of eurypterid, an extinct group of aquatic arthropods. Fossils of Soligorskopterus have been discovered in deposits of the Devonian age in Belarus. Its name derives from Soligorsk, the closest city from the fossil site, and the Greek word πτερόν (pteron), which means wing. The biggest specimen reaches the size of 34 cm (13.4 in).[1]
