Shannon M Frizell (born 11 February 1994) is a Tongan-born[1] New Zealand rugby union player who plays for the Highlanders in the Super Rugby competition.[2] His position of choice is flanker.

On 20 April 2018, Frizell scored three tries against the Blues in a Super Rugby match at Eden Park.

Frizell made his debut for the All Blacks on 23 June 2018 against France.

His brother Tyson, currently plays for St. George Illawarra Dragons in the National Rugby League.[1]
