Riverina Institute of TAFE
TAFE NSW The Riverina Institute (TRI) now forms part of TAFE NSW, Australia's largest vocational education and training provider. TRI and all TAFE NSW Institutes were united as one 'TAFE NSW' in an ongoing process starting in 2017. TRI training was delivered on-site in the workplace as well as the former Institute's 18 campuses at Albury, Deniliquin, Leeton, Hay, West Wylong, Coomealla, Finley, Narrandera, Temora, Young, Cootamundra, Griffith, National Environment Centre, Tumut, Corowa, Lake Cargelligo, Primary Industries Centre and Wagga Wagga.
As the largest provider of vocational education and training in the Riverina-Murray region, the Institute's focus is to build the skills, qualifications and employability of people within our footprint, offering programs from certificate level through to advanced diplomas. Across the selection of our courses, the areas of study include social inclusion and vocational access, business and information technology, community and health services, primary industries and natural resources and 27 specialist trades, 559 programs in total.
Courses are offered online, by distance, full-time, part-time or by flexible arrangement, in the classroom and in the workplace to accommodate the needs of individuals and organisations.
Riverina Institute was named Large Training Provider of the Year at the 2012 NSW Training Awards.
