Pett Bottom is a small settlement about five miles (8 km) south of Canterbury, Kent, England. The nearest village is Lower Hardres. The population of the settlement is included in the civil parish of Bishopsbourne.
James Bond lived here with his aunt after his parents died, in the fictional books by Ian Fleming.[1]
