The Olde Boston Bulldogge (OBB) is a breed of dog created in Boston during the 1800s.[1][2][3] The Olde Boston Bulldogge was bred for both dog fighting and rat-baiting.[1][2][3]
History
The Olde Boston Bulldogge was the progenitor of the Boston Terrier.[1][2][3] The breed is an original and its shape is denoted in many old historical photographs.[1][2][3] The OBB weighed between 20 and 40 pounds with an average height between 12 and 15 inches at the withers and is a shorthaired breed.[1][2][3]
