Nové Město pod Smrkem (Czech pronunciation: [ˈnovɛː ˈmɲɛsto ˈpot smr̩kɛm]; German: Neustadt an der Tafelfichte) is a small town in the Czech Republic, four kilometers from the border with Poland. It has 4,050 inhabitants.

Singltrek pod Smrkem is the first single track trail system in the Czech Republic and Poland designed with the mountain biking experience in mind and with respect to nature. The International Mountain Bicycling Association has designated Singltrek pod Smrkem as an IMBA Ride Center. Ride Centers are the IMBA's strongest endorsement of a trail experience.[1]

Prior to World War II, the city was a part of Germany (Sudetenland)
