Mufti-e-Azam Faizullah was a prominent Deobandi Islamic scholar of Bangladesh.[1][2] He was the Grand Mufti (Mufti-e-Azam) of Al-Jamiatul Ahlia Darul Ulum Moinul Islam.[3] Mufti Faizullah also established a madrasa called Mekhal Hamiussunnah Madrasah.[4]

Education
Mufti Faizullah studied at the Al-Jamiatul Ahlia Darul Ulum Moinul Islam in Chittagang and then he went to Darul Uloom Deoband for further study[5].
Career
After returning from Darul Uloom Deoband, Mufti Faizullah started teaching at Al-Jamiatul Ahlia Darul Ulum Moinul Islam and continued until his death in 1976. He was also a poet and writer.
Books
Apart from a collection of poems in Persian, Mufti Faizullah also wrote a number of other books in Arabic and Persian.
