The Monmouth Beach School District is a community public school district that serves students in pre-kindergarten through eighth grade from Monmouth Beach, New Jersey, United States.[3]

As of the 2014-15 school year, the district and its one school had an enrollment of 271 students and 25.3 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 10.7:1.[1]

The district is classified by the New Jersey Department of Education as being in District Factor Group "I", the second-highest of eight groupings. District Factor Groups organize districts statewide to allow comparison by common socioeconomic characteristics of the local districts. From lowest socioeconomic status to highest, the categories are A, B, CD, DE, FG, GH, I and J.[4]

Public school students in ninth through twelfth grades attend Shore Regional High School, a regional high school that also serves students from the constituent districts of Oceanport, Sea Bright and West Long Branch.[5][6] The high school is located in West Long Branch and is part of the Shore Regional High School District. As of the 2014-15 school year, the high school had an enrollment of 630 students and 58.0 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 10.9:1.[7]

Public school students from Monmouth Beach, and all of Monmouth County, are eligible to apply to attend the schools of the Monmouth County Vocational School District.[8]
