Luv Films is an Indian film production company founded by Luv Ranjan and his childhood friend Ankur Garg. Based in Mumbai, Luv Films produces and distributes feature films and digital content.
Establishment
Luv Films was founded in 2012 by Luv Ranjan, screenwriter & director of Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, Pyaar Ka Punchnama series and Akaash Vani and his childhood friend, Ankur Garg, a Microsoft alumnus and an entrepreneur. While Luv is the creative force of the company, Ankur handles the business reigns.[1]

Luv Films
Luv Films co-produced the 2018 blockbuster Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, a romantic comedy starring Kartik Aaryan, Nushrat Bharucha and Sunny Singh that released on 23rd February 2018. [2][3][4][5][6]
The movie also marked the musical comeback of popular rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh after his 2 year hiatus with the song “Dil Chori”.
Upcoming Films
Luv Films’ next is De De Pyaar De, a romantic comedy film directed by Akiv Ali starring Ajay Devgn, Tabu and Rakul Preet Singh in lead roles. The film will release on 22nd February, 2018.
Luv Films’ is also producing Hansal Mehta’s Turram Khan, a social comedy set in a town of Uttar Pradesh starring Rajkumar Rao and Nushrat Bharucha which will go on the floors in November 2018.[7][8][9][10]
Besides these, they have also announced an Ajay Devgn-Ranbir Kapoor starrer which will go on the floors in 2019 and will have a theatrical release on 25th December, 2020.
The Lazy Studio
Formed under the aegis of Luv Films, The Lazy Studio was founded in 2016 with the aim of producing content for the personal screens.[11] The company’s very first venture- a digital sitcom titled “Life Sahi Hai” created by the co-writer of Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 - Tarun Jain.[12] The first season comprised five episodes and was aired on Youtube in 2016.[13]
In 2018, the sitcom was renewed for a second season on Zee5 - the video on demand service run by Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited
