Liang K'ai is a crater on Mercury. It has a diameter of 140 kilometers.[1] Its name was adopted by the International Astronomical Union in 1979. Liang K'ai is named for the Chinese artist Liang Kai, who lived from 1140 to 1210.[2] Touching the south-southeast rim is the larger Dostoevskij.

The crater was first explored and imaged during the Mariner 10 expedition. West of the crater rim was the area that remained unexplored until the arrival of the MESSENGER spacecraft in January 2008.
