Kushal Tandon is an Indian model and actor known for his portrayal of Virat Singh Vadhera in Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai and Arjun Sharma in Beyhadh.

Background

Tandon comes from a Punjabi family which has been settled in Uttar Pradesh after migrating from West Punjab.[2]

Career

Tandon was the first runner-up of Grasim Mr. India contest held in January 2005.[3] Upon return from the United States after his acting course, he was offered a role in the show Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, to play the role of Virat Singh Vadera opposite Nia Sharma.[4] During the show, he shaved off his hair to show his support for a bald young cancer patient.[5][6]

In 2012, he was ranked sixth in Eastern Eye UK magazine's list of 50 Sexiest Asian Men 2012.[7][8] Later the same year, Tandon participated in Nach Baliye 5 (season of 2012-13) where his partner was Elena Boeva.[9] In 2013, he participated in the seventh season of the reality television show Bigg Boss.[10] In 2014, Tandon was seen in the music video song "Zaroori Tha" along with girlfriend Gauahar Khan. He also featured opposite Jennifer Winget and Aneri Vajani in Sony TV's Beyhadh.[11] He is currently seen as Rahul in the Alt Balaji webseries, 'Hum'.
