Khandela is a town and municipality in the Sikar district of the Indian state of Rajasthan.
History
Khandela is more than two thousand years old. In early times, it was an estate of Chauhan rajputs, of the Nirban clan. During the second half of the 16th-century it became the estate of shekhawats.

Khandela is at 27°22′N 75°18′E / 27.36°N 75.30°E.[1] It has an average elevation of 318 metres (1043 feet).
