Katy High School is a high school located in Katy, Texas which serves grades 9 through 12. It is a part of the Katy Independent School District. The school serves the City of Katy and the unincorporated Harris County community of Cimarron.[2]
History
Katy High School opened in 1898 to serve the children of local rice farmers. Its first graduating class was in 1900.
Feeder patterns
The following elementary schools feed into Katy High School: Cimarron Elementary, Hutsell Elementary, Katy Elementary, Wolman Elementary (partial), King Elementary (partial), West Memorial Elementary (almost all), WoodCreek Elementary (partial), Rylander Elementary (partial), and Morton Ranch Elementary (partial).[3]
The following junior high schools feed into Katy High School: Katy Junior High (partial), West Memorial Junior High (almost all), and WoodCreek Junior High (partial).
