Cypress Ranch High School is a secondary school located in Cypress, which is an unincorporated area in Harris County, Texas, near Houston. It is a part of the Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District.

History

Darlene Medford, previously principal of Cy-Fair High School, became the first principal of Cypress Ranch.[2]

Cypress Ranch was relieved by the 2017 opening of Bridgeland High School, which got most of its students from former Cypress Ranch territory. In addition a section of Cypress Ranch's territory was reassigned to Cypress Woods High School's zone and vice versa that year. Portions of the zones of Cy-Fair High School and Cypress Falls High School were reassigned to Cypress Ranch.[3]

Sports teams

  • Baseball: won state championship in 2012[4] and 2015.[5]
