Celina High School is a public high school located in Celina, Texas, United States. It is part of the Celina Independent School District located in northwestern Collin County and classified as a 4A school by the UIL. In 2015, the school was rated "Met Standard" by the Texas Education Agency.[2]

The Celina Bobcat football team was featured in the Kenny Chesney video Boys Of Fall. Chesney visited the school in 2010.[4]

State titles

Celina High School is best known for its dominating football program – it has eight state championships, tied with Southlake Carroll & Katy for the most in Texas. The 1974 title was in Class B (now Class A) and was a co-championship with Big Sandy High School (one of the all-time dominant teams) while the 2007 title was in Class AAA; the other six titles were in Class AA. In total, the Celina Bobcats have won 20 state titles across 6 sports

Fine arts

The Celina High School Band particularly excels at concert band. It has received eleven consecutive sweepstakes awards and recently won a double state championship in the Outstanding Performance Series (OPS), but it has also obtained many other awards in both concert and marching band, including a trip to the UIL State marching competition in 2005.

The Celina Choir department has won numerous competitions.
