Invincible is an upcoming American animated superhero drama web television series, based on the comic book series of the same name by Robert Kirkman, set to premiere on Amazon Video.

Premise

Invincible follows "Mark Grayson, a normal teenager except for the fact that his father is the most powerful superhero on the planet. Shortly after his seventeenth birthday, Mark begins to develop powers of his own and enters into his father’s tutelage."[1]

Production

Development

On June 19, 2018, it was announced that Amazon had given the production a series order for a first season consisting of eight episodes. The series, based on the comic book series of the same name by Robert Kirkman, is set to be showrun by Simon Racioppa who will executive produce alongside Kirkman, David Alpert, and Catherine Winder. Supervising Directors are to include Justin and Chris Copeland. Production companies involved with the series include Skybound.[1][2][3][4]
