Honey roasted peanuts

Honey roasted peanuts are a popular Salt, Sugar and Honey flavored peanut snack,[1] offered as a product line by several prominent nut companies such as Planters[2] and KingNut.[3]

Production

The oven is preheated to 350 degrees Fahrenheit, while butter and honey are heated together on a stovetop. Then, the peanuts are tossed into a bowl with the butter and honey until they are submerged. The peanuts are then transferred to a cookie sheet and baked for 5 to 10 minutes. The peanuts are checked on every 2-3 minutes to make sure all sides have turned golden brown. They are then removed from the oven where they cool for 3 minutes. Salt or sugar are sprinkled on top for additional flavoring. [4]
