Harford Field (ICAO: KHAD, FAA LID: HAD) is a privately owned public-use airport located five nautical miles (6 mi, 9 km) north of the central business district of Casper, in Natrona County, Wyoming, United States.[1]

Although most U.S. airports use the same three-letter location identifier for the FAA and IATA, this airport is assigned HAD by the FAA,[1] but has no designation from the IATA (which assigned HAD to Halmstad Airport in Halmstad, Sweden).[2]

Facilities and aircraft

Harford Field covers an area of 115 acres (47 ha) at an elevation of 5,370 feet (1,637 m) above mean sea level. It has one runway designated 7/25 with a dirt surface measuring 3,810 by 30 feet (1,161 x 9 m).[1]

For the 12-month period ending July 31, 2010, the airport had 100 general aviation aircraft operations. At that time there were 11 aircraft based at this airport: 73% single-engine, and 27% ultralight.[1]
